About Your Trainer
Sally Anderson has taught Primary children, ranging in ages from 5 to 13 for over 30 years. She is the mother of 2 daughters and mentored many teachers one on one and presented at school workshops and seminars. Through her public speaking she has addressed many parents and teachers on successful ways to reach out and connect with our children of the 21st Century.
Sally’s creative flair and talents enabled her to start her working career with two strings in her bow. Never being shy of the stage, she began a very successful singing career by night, and as a primary school teacher during the day. Later, realizing her talents and inherent knowledge with regard to successful tactics and skills making connections with children on any level, she became a mentor and coach for teachers, then wanting to share this with a greater audience it seemed that launching her career as a Speaker seemed the natural thing to do.
Through teaching many different age levels and subject areas in some fairly challenging schools Sally developed a Teacher’s Toolbox that bundles together tried and proven teaching strategies that are guaranteed to empower any teacher. Not only do teachers gain a great deal of insight into their learning, but so too do the students.
She has a reputation for enhancing self esteem and subsequently transforming individuals into a cohesive class that work together positively and productively.

Today, Sally trains teachers and professionals alike in behaviour management, teaching practices tailored to suit both teacher and students:- methods tried and proven time and again, and relationship building between teachers and students and parents.

Recent Workshops
28 teachers and school leaders attended Sally's "How to create a Productive Classroom Environment" workshop in Alice Springs, where attendees were given real life examples of how to apply John Hattie's principles in the classroom.
